“My step mother recently passed away, and so I was faced with the substantial undertaking of moving my elderly father to be closer to us, as well as managing his affairs. This included selling their home, which was located several hours away. With all the work I already had managing our own lives, as well as now taking care of my father, I wasn’t looking forward to dealing with a house sale far away. I was tremendously fortunate to come across an amazing home just a few blocks away for my father to rent, not only because it is a wonderful home, but also because we met Morgan and Keith from Morgan Real Estate who were managing the rental for the owners. Despite my father’s home being in an area far away, Morgan and Keith were happy to help us sell his home as well, even though that meant they would have to drive a couple hours each way each time to manage the process. “We interviewed a lot of real estate agents in LA and found Morgan to be the most impressive. She had a perfect balance of assertiveness, great negotiating skills, and trustworthiness; in addition to a great track record of selling a lot of homes in our area. Our instincts paid off. Morgan and her crew (it was great to have a whole team working for us–we loved Kai and Deborah, too) were able to get us FIVE offers on our house after the first open house, 2 of them were over asking, one of them 100k over asking. And, we did that with light staging we did ourselves with some advice from her. She was the only agent we interviewed who didn’t recommend us paying $4k to stage the house. We spent about $600 instead following her advice, which was easy to do and not cause us to waste money on things we would never keep. When we interviewed agents, every agent told us we would have to pull permits from the city, which sounded a little daunting, not fun at all. Morgan was the only one who just did it for us–without asking even before we signed with her. That told us she was not afraid to get her hands dirty. She also let us give a lot of input on the marketing of our house, which was important to us. She went out of the box and marketed the neighborhood, too, and we believe that helped greatly with getting $100k over asking. When it was all said and done we ended up with the highest sale price for a 2 bedroom house in our neighborhood in history and the highest per square price for any home on our block. “DREAM HOUSE checked off the bucket list!!  We worked with Morgan and Jeffrey on the sale of our home.  We were aggressive on the listing price (a pocket listing), during the holidays.  The house sold in 1 day. “Our family recently sold our house with Morgan and we had an amazing experience. Our sale was complicated, pressed for time and particularly emotional; and Morgan and her team were so very sensitive to all of those issues. Perhaps there are some sales where a realtor can enter the contract, market, hold the open houses and negotiate a sale for a good price (all of which was done very well in our case), and that’s the end of the job. But in our case, and I am sure many others – what sale of a family home isn’t a bit emotional?
